Meet the Community Leaders

Our journey with Literary Launchpad started years ago when we met as aspiring writers at a sci-fi writing group. Today, Dave has self-published five books and grown an author platform with 160k followers. Anna has worked in the publishing industry, holds a library degree, and published fiction and poetry in respected magazines.

Our success made us realize we had valuable experience to share, and we decided to found a community like the one that brought us together.


  • Dave's background bridges technology and creative writing. After a tech career in data center infrastructure, Dave became interested in Artificial Intelligence. He began investigating AI as both a researcher and a writer, exploring new possibilities in his novels.

    David's experience includes:

    Currently, Dave is working on expanding his science fiction novel into a series. He also runs another community called New Era Pathfinders, which focuses on finding meaning in the fourth industrial revolution.

  • Anna's background straddles the sciences and the humanities. She holds a BA in Classics and a Master's in Information Science from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she wrote her thesis about AI. She's been a writer her entire life and published her first story at the age of 18 when she won Jerry Jazz Musician's annual short fiction contest.

    Anna's experience includes:

    • Publishing work in respected publications, including Flash Fiction Online, The Dread Machine, and Hiraeth Books

    • Writing in a variety of genres and forms, including short fiction, flash fiction, and poetry

    • Experience working as a marketing professional in the publishing industry.
